Studymate Road to Boards is a 4 month long comprehensive program that will provide relevant support to students all the way up to their Board Exams. Program comprises counselling session on ‘How to Prepare for Board Exams’ followed by Studymate Practice Boards for key subjects with detailed diagnostics on strengths & weaknesses of each student. This will help them formulate their study plan for better academic performance.

Blueprint for Class 10 Question Papers:

SUBJECT PAPER STRUCTURE
Mathematics The question paper will consist of 30 questions divided into four sections A, B, C and D.

  • Section A will contain 6 questions of 1 mark each.
  • Section B will contain 6 questions of 2 marks each.
  • Section C will contain 10 questions of 3 marks each.
  • Section D contains 8 questions of 4 marks each.

There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in four questions of 3 marks each and three questions of 4 marks each.

Science The question paper will comprise of two sections, A and B.

  • Question numbers 1 and 2 in Section A will be one mark question.
  • Question numbers 3 to 5 in Section A will be 2 marks questions.
  • Question numbers 6 to 15 in Section A will be 3 marks questions.
  • Question numbers 16 to 21 in Section A will be 5 marks questions.
  • Question numbers 22 to 27 in Section B are based on practical skills.
  • Each question in Section-B will be a 2 marks question.

There is an internal choice in 2 questions of three marks each and one question of five marks.

 

Blueprint of Class 12 Question Papers:

SUBJECT PAPER STRUCTURE
English The question paper will consist of 3 sections – A, B and C.

  • Section A is of 30 marks (Reading) – 3 questions of 3 passages.
  • Section B is of 30 marks (Writing) – 4 questions (1 of 4 marks, 1 of 6 marks, 2 of 10 marks each).
  • Section C is of 40 marks (Literature) – Questions of 1 mark, 3 marks and 6 marks as per blueprint.
Mathematics The question paper will contain 29 questions.

  • Questions 01 – 04 in Section A are very short-answer type questions of 1 mark each.
  • Questions 05 – 12 in Section B are short-answer type questions of 2 marks each.
  • Questions 13 – 23 in Section C are long-answer-I type questions of 4 marks each.
  • Questions 24 – 29 in Section D are long-answer-II type questions of 6 marks each.
Economics The question paper will consist of 2 sections (A and B) each of 40 marks.

  • Section A (Microeconomics) will consist of 4 questions of 1 mark each, 2 questions of 3 marks each, 3 questions of 4 marks each and 3 questions of 6 marks each.
  • Section B (Macroeconomics) will consist of 4 questions of 1 mark each, 2 questions of 3 marks each, 3 questions of 4 marks each and 3 questions of 6 marks each.

Board Exams are back for Class 10. Class 8 & 9 are 2 critical years for building a strong foundation for Board Exams in Class 10. Students who focus on getting their concepts right in these classes will have an edge over others in Class 10.

Class 11 similarly forms base for Class 12 Boards. Students in science stream face quantum increase in volume and difficulty of syllabus in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Commerce stream students study new subjects such as Accounts, Economics, Business Studies.

Road to Board Program will test Class 8, 9 and 11 students on their concepts & give them inputs on areas of improvement to help them start early in their preparations for Boards.
