Central Board of Secondary Education has started rechecking process for CBSE class 10 and CBSE class 12 for 2019 Board exams. Students who are not content with their marks in any subject can apply for rechecking of their answer sheets. Rechecking involves totaling errors and check if any answer is left unmarked.
Steps to follow for CBSE paper rechecking
This is a very simple process, students can go through the process by clicking the link available at CBSE website. Students should enter roll number and click the submit option. Then choose the subjects you wish to apply for rechecking.
After choosing the subject/s, pay the processing fee of Rs. 500 per subject for rechecking.
After the completion of the first step, CBSE would check the marks and release the re-verification result in next 2 days on the same portal. Students should look at the status of their verification of marks request on portal.
After the completion of verification, the students can apply for the photocopy of their answer sheets. For photocopies of the answer sheets, candidates need to pay Rs. 700. Please keep in mind, the candidates can only apply for the photocopy of best subject for which they have applied for the verification.
Now CBSE would release the photocopy of answer sheets directly in the inbox or in the candidate’s login account. Now the students can apply online for CBSE paper rechecking procedure.
Rechecking would be on per subject question. Candidates can challenge the marks for a particular question. Request for re-assessment/subjects will be widely accepted for one theory @ Rs.100/- as a question processing prices.
The applicant can talk over with the marking scheme in the concerned subject, which they can find on the site along with the question paper. Thereafter, applicants can submit an application for rechecking in the required question(s). Status of CBSE paper rechecking will be uploaded at the website followed with a formal letter.
